Back to shopping. As luck would have it, we arrived in Glasgow on a UK bank holiday meaning most of the stores were having sales. When I say "sales," I mean "deep-discounted, purses-and-sunglasses-for-£5, buy-one-get-one-free ridiculous discounts." Seeing how I'm deprived of some clothing at the moment and the price is right, I took full opportunity. :) We took time out as a family to have tea and scones around 4 PM, and tonight will be a dinner and "welcome drink" sponsored by the tour. I'm predicting that my sisters and I will single-handedly bring the average age of the tour down about 5 years or so. No matter--it should be a good time. I'm hoping to have a few other nationalities in the group as opposed to more Yanks.
Final notes:
- Charlie MacKenzie's mother from So I Married an Axe Murderer? I sat next to her clone on the flight over. She was great.
- The people here in Glasgow have been incredibly friendly. So far, I'm impressed with the Scottish reception and can't wait to see how it goes in Inverness and Edinburgh.

What a fun way to keep us posted on your travels! Hope your luggage arrives safely! That's awesome that it will be delivered to the place where your family is staying rather than having to trek back to the airport to retrieve it yourself. Have fun in Scotland!
